Felipe Motta, 21, was announced this Tuesday afternoon (20), as the new reinforcement of Al-Nasr Dubai for the 2024/2025 season.
After a season at the Emirates Club alongside Andrés Iniesta, the defender arrives to share the pitch with the squad of Dubai’s most traditional team in the Emirates Football Championship.
“I chose him for several reasons. Al-Nasr is a big team, we all know, it is the most traditional football team here in the United Arab Emirates, it is the oldest team, this makes it very traditional and respected. The club’s structure is very good, this is a primary factor in the athlete’s daily life. And in addition to what has already been mentioned here, I will have another opportunity to play with great players and compete for titles – he said.

Felipe Motta, from Rio de Janeiro, took the opportunity and projected his season at the Dubai club and in the dispute of the first division of the UAE Pro League, since it is called the championship.
– I hope that my season here will be very positive, full of achievements and accomplishments both individual and collective. I believe in the team, I believe in the squad and I know that together we can achieve great things and bring joy to the fans, this is also an individual goal of mine, to give my best and leave the smile on the fans – he said.
At the height of his 21 years, Felipe recognizes that he is living a good moment in his career and is aware of the good opportunities he has within football, which allows him to experience and learn from other athletes every day. On the occasion, the player commented on his arrival at Al-Nasr.
– I feel very happy. I feel like I’m on the right track. I’m still very young and I’m aware that I have valuable opportunities in football and I give myself completely to all of them. I enter the field and always give my best and here it will be no different. I am very happy and very fulfilled to be at a great club and with great personalities in world football – he explained.
Al-Nasr debuts in the UAE Pro League later this week and the expectation is that the Brazilian will already be among the substitutes. Felipe Motta made it clear what fans can expect from him on and off the field.
– Al-Nasr fans can expect a lot of commitment, a lot of race, a lot of dedication and discipline. I always try to give my best on and off the field, to deliver everything I can in the matches I play so I never leave the field thinking I could have given more. I hope, at the end of the season, to be able to celebrate and vibrate the achievements of our team alongside our fans – he concluded.
Al-Nasr debuts this Friday (23) against Al Urooba, at 11 am (Brasília), in a game valid for the first round of the Emirates Championship. The match will take place away from home at Dibba Stadium.
